"Wow, that seemed like a really happy ending.

I felt like I was right behind it! I can't die yet. Even if I die, I'll save my friends! To make sure they find them! Please, before my vision gets blurry...! There!! Hobin Yoo, if you don't keep your promise, I'll curse you. And let me ask you a favor. I'm hungry."

Synopsis[]

In episode 154, he appeared with other members of the scholarship class. While Hobin Yoo confronted Joshua, she confronted Bobguy, but Jo Il-sang intervened to cover it up. After that, after learning of Josung Academy's intention, he joined forces with the scholarship members, including Yoo Ho-bin. In the middle, there was an intrusion by the Josung Academy teachers, but like the other scholarship students, they were victorious.

In episode 160, Haesu Seo was recruited as a member of the team and later joined the new international faction Jinho Lee. When the massacre happened, he was the only one who did not show up. After meeting Jinho Lee, he introduced his business. After that, Baek Seong-jun sent nude photos of Hobin Yoo's female members to Hobin Yoo, who is trying to convey that they are fake using deep-fake technology and threatens to spread the same photos if the truth is cut off from the broadcast. Upon hearing this news, Wangguk Han becomes furious and shows a very embarrassed appearance as he explodes in anger. At first, when Wangguk Han temporarily defeats Sun Jian with a strong blow, Chen and Gu Suk-jeong push Wangguk Han away. However, Yeonwoo appears, and Sun Jian takes Yeonwoo as an opponent while he himself fights Wangguk Han. While showing inferiority to Wangguk Han and being pushed back, he remembers the time when he learned Hapkido in the past, briefly shows an advantage, and scratches his forehead with a piece of glass attached to his shoe to seal his vision for a while. I wanted to defeat Wangguk Han like this, but I was taken away by Wangguk Han using my remaining senses and eventually defeated. Afterwards, seeing Jinho Lee leading the New International Faction, he assumed that support had arrived, but all the Bad Boys members, including him, were driven away and put in a position to be killed along with Wangguk Han's gang. However, when Seo Hae-soo offers to save Wi Pyeong-oh in exchange for the bandit members throwing away all their sins and not telling the truth, he tries to stop the party saying that it would be better for him to be dragged out alone, but they offer to save one Wi Pyeong-oh and decide to be used as bait. When he leaves, he is unable to stop them with a devastated expression and eventually goes to a hotel with Jinho Lee and Hae-soo Seo. In the end, even though he continues to work with Jinho Lee and Hae-soo Seo, he is convinced that he will be abandoned someday, and Hobin Yoo decides to give him help and become a double spy on the condition that they take out his friends through a legal transaction.

While acting as a double spy, he was almost caught by Jinho Lee, but fortunately, he created a password with Yoo Ho-bin and practiced answers in Cantonese at the same time, so he was not caught. Afterwards, under Jinho Lee's orders, he is sent to the reservoir where Kim is. In order to find out information about secret funds, he puts his cell phone in a waterproof zipper bag in the reservoir and investigates it, but nothing comes out. While he thinks that being in the reservoir is boring, Kim appears and suddenly boards the same boat. After that, he asks Kim about his past history, but when he remains silent, Wi Pyeong-o assumes that there is a dark past and keeps quiet. However, when he boards the same boat as Wei Pyong-o, Haesoo Seo has already discovered that Wei Ping-o and Hobin Yoo were secretly cooperating, and sends him to the reservoir where Kim is located to bury him. Wi Pyeong-oh, who doesn't know why, is killed and retired by Kim-gun, who pulls out a knife, and falls into a reservoir with a stone tied to one of his feet.

There is a scene where the bad boy crew members are rescued from detention. In reality, he had woken up drowning in a reservoir after being ambushed by Kim's army, and since there was no time to escape to land due to lack of oxygen, he untied the stone tied to his feet with the intention of digging up information about the slush fund, even if it meant dying. After finding the cell phone, he manages to find bundles of money locked in slush funds. Wi Pyeong-o, who discovered the slush fund, sends photos of evidence to Hobin Yoo.

Finally, when the bad boy team is released, he drowns himself with the last words to give them something to eat because they are hungry. In any case, his sacrifice was not in vain, and Hobin Yoo manages to interpret the information. It seems that the body was later recovered by the police who responded to the scene.

Fighting Prowess[]

He learned Hapkido as a child. Like the Chosung Academy Scholarship class, he fought equally with the same Scholarship class, Bab Guy, and like other Scholarship students, he fought and defeated the Joseong Academy teacher. Judging from the point of doing so on the side, his fighting power seems to be excellent. It is assumed that he fights using intelligence, unlike Barb, who is strength-oriented. During the fight with Wangguk, he was injured, to the point of fainting, and fought back, using many techniques, but losing to his physical strength and obscuring his vision. His fighting power is estimated to be the weakest among the Scholarship class, but in the top line among the executives of the New International Faction, he seems weaker than Su Jian, who can compete on equal footing with Yeonwoo, so he is considered a strong player in the upper middle ranks in self-taught fighting.

Trivia (optional)[]

  • Him and His friends are called "Hellions".
  • He came from Hong Kong.
  • The motive of the name is Yu Ping-oh, a Hong Kong actor .
  • His appearance resembles Jinho Lee.
  • Unlike Joshua, who was quite likeable because he got along well with Taehoon Seong despite being from the same New International Faction, he is being cursed by readers for his deepfake synthesis of the Hobin Yoo Company and its offensive tone.
  • He cursed twice in Cantonese and Japanese.
  • In Chapter 173, there is a scene where Hobin Yoo tells the members of the scholarship class that Jinho Lee will kill them if they do not serve his purpose, but at that moment, only Wi Pyeong-oh was not present in the scene. In a way, she did not hear Hobin Yoo's warning, so he believed Jinho Lee until the moment he called the New International Faction and said that he would get rid of him and his group, and was in danger of being killed along with his friends. After harboring hostility towards Jinho Lee and Haesoo Seo, he entered into a collaborative relationship with Hobin and his group and was expected to play an active role in the decisive battle against the New International faction, but met a sad end when he was assassinated by Kim Gun. He is a mistreated character in the story, and was the first character in the scholarship class to die. After being abandoned by the New International faction and dying, he is not mentioned by anyone, including Hobin.
