Jinhyeon Choi has a loving but fearful releationship with his wife. He asks for forgiveness from her without even knowing what the problem is, since he assumes that the problem is him. He does not seem to show any resentment towards his wife.
Synopsis[]
Jinhyeon Choi is first seen in Bomi's backstory 3 years prior to the main story. When he tried to tell Bomi that it's okay for kids to be kids, she felt personally attacked and insisted that she's a grown up, being ungrateful and saying that she would move out as soon as possible to stay away from him. Hobin, who had been listening to the whole conversation walks in and sticks his booger on her forehead, which angers her even more and yells at him to grow up. Her father holds her back.[2]
Bomi's father is later seen kneeling on the ground in front of his wife. When Bomi returns, her father asks if she has done anything wrong, and suspects one of them must have been the problem. His wife clarifies later that it was Bomi's grades that made her concerned.[3]
