Season 1[]

Jiksae is first introduced as Pakgo's cameraman, and a fellow bully of Hobin Yoo. He isn't the best fighter but his status still intimidates people.

Jiksae asks Hobin to make an account using his mother's credentials, because he's a minor and can't do so. He eventually relented and decided to let Jiksae livestream using his mom's account. As Hobin heats up his mother's kimchi, Jiksae is trying to get 30 kills on livestream. When he brings him the food, Hobin trips on a wire and spills the Kimchi on Jiksae by accident. The screen is shut off due to the unplugged wire. Jiksae begins beating Hobin, yelling that he is ruining his stream. He tells him he is a cancer just like his mother, and Hobin begins fighting Jiksae back. The next morning he wakes up to Jiksae calling him, yelling at him to delete the video. It went viral, and has gained Hobin about 10 million views.

Jiksae returns to school to find his video has become wildly popular. The other students mock him and peg him as a loser. In an attempt to regain relevance he attacks a nerd, but the nerd beats him as well. Jiksae attacks Hobin angrily as he is walking home. The two of them fight until they are tired, and Hobin tries to console Jiksae. He shows him a video he took secretly of the fight, and makes Hobin an offer: he will be Hobin's cameraman as he creates more fighting videos. Hobin refuses the deal until he is offered 90% of the earnings.

When Pakgo begins streaming again, he introduces Hobin and Jiksae as the two who fought in the viral video, in an attempt to gain some clout. Hobin interrupts him to expose Pakgo as a fraud, but he shuts off his livestream. While Pakgo is beating Hobin, Jiksae secretly takes a livestream. Pakgo is winning the fight against Hobin but Munseong tells him to stop being noisy and he stops. Jiksae uploads the video to Newtube, and Pakgo's career begins to crumble.

At school, Hobin awkwardly texts Bomi, when Jihyeok interrupts him and asks if he had any new video ideas. Hobin decides not to tell him about the chicken man he saw on NewTube, and says that he is still thinking. Jihyeok is unhappy with Hobin, saying that Hobin wasn't taking it seriously enough. Rumi joins the conversation and asks them if they'd do a collab because her followers wanted one. Both of the boys are instantly taken in by her looks, and they almost agree, when an angry Pakgo walks into the room. Hobin prepares to implement his newfound fighting techniques, but Jiksae manages to stop Pakgo by threatening to upload footage. Pakgo swears revenge upon Hobin, Jiksae and Rumi.

When Hobin's phone gets stolen, Jiksae follows him to stream their fight to get is back. Jiksae and the robber's girlfriend watch while Hobin is being beat. He doesn't have high hopes for this fight, but one of the streamers points out that the robber's hands were damaged due to the fight. He didn't notice because of the adrenaline, but once it wore off he began reeling in pain. Hobin was also bruised up, but he got his phone back. The two of them go to the convenience store to exchange the money they earned, roughly 2 million won. Jiksae buys an expensive outfit, and encourages Hobin to do the same. Hobin begins livestreaming as he is waiting for Bomi, and some streamers begin calling him greedy for wearing his designer clothes. Hobin begins to realize the negatives of becoming famous. Rumi also tries to reel him into her stream, but he ends of escaping and runs into Bomi and Munseong.

Jiksae notices the insecurity Hobin has about Munseong. He corners Hobin as he attempts to flee, and gives him a pep talk. He tells Hobin that love is a competition, and right now he is close to winning Bomi's heart. Really, he wants to capture Hobin's confession to Bomi via livestream. As Jiksae is spying on Hobin, he is apprehended by Pakgo, who beats him up. He goes to Hobin to warn him but Pakgo comes before he can. Jiksae watches as Pakgo beats up and humiliates Hobin.

While Hobin is absent from school, Pakgo begins picking on Jiksae. He is even worse to Jiksae than Hobin because he's disgusted at his snake-like behavior. Pakgo's subscribers are only growing the worse that he becomes, and he asks Jiksae to bring Hobin to school so he can shoot a video. Jiksae goes to Hobin's mother to ask her where to find Hobin. She gives him the address, and tells him she is happy that Jiksae came to visit. Hobin spoke highly about his first friend to his mother, and she thanks him for helping Hobin and being a good friend. Jiksae feels immensely guilty, and during the livestream he tells Hobin Yoo to not come to school, because if he does then Pakgo will get 500,000 won from his subscribers. Pakgo begins beating Jiksae and warns Hobin to come to school or else he will continue beating him. Hobin enters the classroom and hands his phone to Jiksae, telling him to begin streaming his next video: "How to win a fight against an amateur fighter."
