Summary[]
Jinho murders his girlfriend, and Jinseok is frustrated that there is no evidence. Jinho becomes the No. 3 of the New International Branch by murdering his boss's wife and blaming it on a rival gang.

Synopsis[]
The police come to Jinho’s house and find his girlfriend dead. Jinho is covered with blood and wounds from self harm. Detective Choi is sympathetic to Jinho but Detective Kang believes he is somehow behind the murder, since Jinho is a psychopath.
Jinho tells Cheon that he wants to join, but Cheon is skeptical. He asks why a budding art student would want to join a criminal organization. Jinho tells him that he wants to meet a person and rise to the top. Cheon allows Jinho to drive his car around, although his wife thinks he won’t last long.
Dongseok is shocked that Jinho managed the feat and he asks why he is rushing to the top. Jinho says the same as before, that Cheon opened his eyes and untied the knot around his heart. Dongseok tells Jinho that it won’t be easy kissing up to the boss, since he has no heart. He is only ever affectionate to his wife.
The Nammun gang have been causing some issues for the New International Branch. Cheon meets with a congressman to help ward them off when he gets shocking news. The Nammun gang stabbed his wife, and Jinho took a hatchet to murder them all. When Cheon returns, he makes Jinho the number three member of the gang, and all affairs are to be supervised by him.
Dongseok grabs Jinho by the collar and asks what game he is playing. Jinho was the one who stabbed Cheon’s wife, and pinned the blame on the Nammun gang. Jinho asks Dongseok why he kept quiet about this, and says they need to have a talk.
